Lis Tells How to Use Amplify...

The important things are:

1. Put the Amplify Bookmark in your toolbar so you can quickly clip a page and paste it into Amplify, and

2: to set up the Automatic update links so FB, Twitter etc get connected.

Amplify’d from www.facebook.com
Some people at a forum I use a lot asked how to use amplify.com to promote posts - so here's my take on it. You set up an amplify blog based around your name or your keywords - that will give you a relevant url using a subdomain e.g this amplify blog is lissowerbutts.amplify.com.

You set up the blog first - you use the sidebar to self...-promote (obviously :-) ) find some friends and follow them. You can also setup which other sites you want to auto update with your amplify updates - I update twitter, some facebook pages, but you can also use it to create blogs on other sites such as blogger, wordpress, tumblr or posterous among others.

You can write regular posts - which is what this is - but I rarely do so - instead I start with a page I want to promote.

I use the Chrome "bookmarklet" - which means when I see a page I want to promote or comment on I click the blue A - I then have the option to click on the bits of the post I want to quote. See the video for the step by step.

There's a reasonable video if you are more visual leaner here

The important thing to remember to make sure you have relevant tags on the post. You can schedule posts for the future if you want to.
